All it takes is ONE media story to the right audience to boost sales and increase business!
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is this for beginning or advanced marketers/business owners? Small Biz PR Made Easy is for business owners at every level of marketing, but specifically for those who want to better understand and implement their marketing programs with an emphasis on public relations, and those who are ready to get serious about marketing their business the right way. If you're ready to see positive changes in your business, then this course is for you!
2. Does this work for any business? I'm not going to lie, if you don't have a story that's newsworthy you aren't going to get far with it. If you have not yet successfully defined what differentiates you from your competition, you probably won't be too successful at PR or any other marketing. To be successful in general as a business you must be able to make yourself stand out from your competition.
With that said, yes, this program can work for any business from doctors to store fronts and B2B to lifestyle consumer products and services. However, if you aren't able to put the time required for you to be successful in this course then it might not work for you. I want to make sure you're prepared to put in the effort. This is not an overnight, learn by osmosis kind of program.
3. Are there any additional, or hidden costs, to this program? No, no hidden costs. I will teach you how to put together your PR program but any recommendations I provide for media list purchasing, press release distribution, etc. are going to be extra costs or expenses. The difference is I'm not going to lead you to services that cost an arm and a leg, and if they are fairly expensive, I'm going to tell you why it's worth it to splurge or why it's not. You should consider what additional budget you have to make this program work for you and I will be sure to outline everything I can in the lessons so you are never blindsided.
4. Does my membership include personalized consulting? No. I do offer consulting services, but I'm limiting a customized program to only 50 people. This is because I simply cannot adequately provide 500 people with the kind of dedicated service that you all deserve. I will, however, be sure to let you know when positions in the Press Club open up.
5. I'm not a good writer, can I hire someone to write my press kit materials? Yes. In fact, you can hire me. I'm offering members a special discount rate for writing. And if I'm not available I have a list of very qualified copywriters that I feel confident can help you for an extremely reasonable price.
6. What day will I receive my weekly emails? There is no set date that you will receive your emails. It's based on when you sign up. The autoresponder is set up to deliver lessons every seven days. (There can be a 24-48 hour difference in time of delivery based on the autoresponder, but you will receive a lesson each week). If you have any problems receiving your local lessons, be sure to email me.
7. Can I email you with questions? I totally welcome emails from members regarding technical issues, however, there is just NO WAY that I can answer everyone's emails regarding the program. I really, really wish I could, but I can't. Imagine answering 500 emails a week. Even if I took five seconds to answer yes or no it would still take me nearly 42 hours just to answer emails. That's an entire work week! I have purposely created each lesson to be easy to understand and implement because of this reason. If you're someone who needs a bit of hand holding during this program, please consider joining my Premiere Press Club. Members will have access to me throughout the duration of their membership.
If you are having trouble with part of the program please email me and I will review it. It may be something that needs to be changed for the betterment of all members. Your feedback is very important! I don't anticipate any technical issues, but technology is not perfect either, so if you fail to receive a lesson one week PLEASE let me know about it.
I will continue to add more FAQ as they come up. if you have any additional questions, please feel free to email me.
